Brainspotting is brain-body based therapy focused on identifying, processing, and releasing trauma and other emotional stress. It is based on the premise that “where you look affects how you feel.” It utilizes eye positions connected to unconscious, emotional experiences. Brainspotting is believed to reach parts of the brain that are not generally accessed in traditional talk therapy. It is also a bottom-up treatment approach.

Sex therapy is sought out for a variety of reasons. Sex therapy may address sexual conditions, pain during sex, low desire, pleasure, anxiety surrounding sex, intimacy difficulties, sexuality, gender identity, and much more. Soul Space is sex-positive and welcomes all kinks, fetishes, relationship styles, sexualities, and genders. Available for individuals and couples.

I view each individual as a whole person and tailor each approach to your specific experience. I often use mindfulness, experiential exercises, somatic exercises, skill building, trauma informed approaches, multicultural awareness, and other modalities.
